Preseason Game 1: Devils at Philadelphia Flyers

Tonight we finally get some real hockey, as the New Jersey Devils head to the Wells Fargo Center to face the Philadelphia Flyers.

Unfortunately, for those living in New Jersey, the game will be blacked out. If you live around the Philadelphia area or receive the Philadelphia-based Comcast Sportsnet feed, then you can watch the game. The NHL Network will also broadcast the game, but black it out to those in New Jersey. I’d like to extend a big thank you to the MSG Network for not allowing the Devils’ fans to see the game tonight. Oh well, I guess watching hockey will have to wait a few more days…

The Devils will send the “Red” squad from yesterday’s scrimmage, with a few changes. Nick Palmieri and Alexander Vasyunov will play in place of Rod Pelley and Vladimir Zharkov.

Here are the line combinations for tonight’s game:

Forwards: Patrik Elias – Jason Arnott – Jamie Langenbrunner, Dainius Zubrus – Jacob Josefson – David Clarkson, Alexander Vasyunov – Adam Mair – Marcus Nilson, Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond – Brad Mills – Nick Palmieri

Defenseman: Bryce Salvador – Andy Greene, Alexander Urbom – Henrik Tallinder, Mark Fraser – Matt Corrente

Goalies: Johan Hedburg, Mike McKenna
